MRA IRELAND

The Governing Body responsible for the promotion of Motocross, Enduro, Sidecarcross, Quadcross and Supermoto events in Ulster.

 

The Association consists of affiliated Clubs covering all 9 Counties of Ulster, promoting around 90 events annually for Youth and Adults, with around 1500 members and 7-800 competition licence holders.

MRA Clubs also host British Championship as well as Ulster & Irish Championship events which are widely recognised as the best in their respective series and MRA riders compete at the highest level in the British, European and World stage.

MRA are also run a  successful Coaching strategy, and are affiliated through the MCUI to the FIM. MRA subsequently are signed up to WADA protocols for Anti Doping regulations, and have a full range of policies in place for Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Gaming, Social Media use etc.

The sport is Governed by committees and are also partners with Motorcycling Ireland to Govern Irish Championship events and select Teams for the various International Team events, the Motocross, Quad cross and  Sidecar cross of Nations as well as the Under 21 Competition the Coupe del’Avenir.

Coaching

Motorcycle Racing Association (Ireland) Ltd. encourages coaching of competitors in a safe and controlled environment so has developed a coaching strategy to support this. The policy is currently being revised and will be published online in the near future.

The MRA plans to host / support a number of coaching events in the 2024 season so keep an eye on the home/events pages along with our social media for details closer to the time.
